    Hi,

Quite wet behind the ears for an old guy!
I did my MCDST a few months ago and have now enrolled to do 2 more modules part time at uni, they are MCTS exam 620 (online) and A+ IT essentials(class based).

Once I have completed these, I was wondering what I should do next.
I enjoy messing about with hardware and would like to gain some qualifications to show my level of knowledge.
I would like to eventually work in a repair shop or similar
Can anyone suggest what I should go for after the IT essentials module? I prefer self training but will go to classes if I have to.

    Thanks in advance

    Tam

    Welcome to CF

well to get the A+ certification you need to pass two exams, the Essentials is mandatory then you have a choice of either IT Techncian (220-602), Help desk Technician (220-603) or Depot Technician (220-604).

So I would do one of those and as it sounds the IT Technician would be the one for you and you don't need to do classes for any IT cert if you don't want to.
