Well it's been a long time coming but it finally happened. I always seemed to be in the wrong place or the wrong country at the wrong time. But now it's happened. I finally got to see Iron Maiden live in concert.

All I can say is f*çking awesome.Two hours of pure energy and testosterone as they pumped out powerhouse classics such as Moonchild, Seventh son of a seventh son, Rime of the ancient mariner, Fear of the dark, Powerslave, Iron maiden and Run to the hills to name a few.

I said it before but I'll say it again, f*çking awesome. With around 8000 other fans closed into a rather small venue the temperature was enough to make sweat run down my back while standing still. Despite this I had goosebumps all over for the whole concert.

They have not lost any power or intensity over the last years like a lot of bands. These guys powered the eighties, rocked the nineties and are kicking ass and taking names in the 21st century.

If I died tomorrow I could say that I died truly happy, but let's just leave it till after I see Metallica on sunday. With having seen Motorhead about a month ago, seeing Iron Maiden and Metallica as well makes this a fantastic year.

Awesome! Not too long ago Megadeth were performing down the road from me, but I never got to go.
