A bit about myself

Before I start asking questions on the forum I thought it would only be appropiate for me to introduce myself first, so...

I have a BSc in Computer Science (but to be honest most of the useful stuff I know has been learnt while out working in the big bad world )

Have worked in different IT posts for about 5 years now and have gained experience in a few different areas
- web development (using ASP, PHP, HTML etc ) though haven't done any of this sort of work in a while. (I have the design skills of a bag of blind hedgehogs kept in the bottom of a cupboard- i.e. none )
- support type work ( Most windows OSs )
- networking (setting up and troubleshooting)

Well thats the main areas anyway.

I now want to gain some certificates and thats the reason for me joining this site, as there seems to be plenty of knowledge / good advice out there.


As for the username, well I play some volleyball, oh yeah and I live in sunny Belfast (Northern Ireland).
