    Hello,

I've been working in IT for 7 years and have only now decided to get certified to do the jobs I already do on a day to day basis.

Also after spending 4 years (TUPE'd) with a large blue chip IT company (initials of the phrase's 'Itty bitty morons' or I've been misled) that promised the earth on training and always seemed to find an excuse for the lack of any training budget! This left me years behind and I found myself down on skills and struggling to justify why they should send me on ITIL courses and the like when on paper I wasn't qualified to do the job I am currently doing.

So here I am Starting from the bottom and having passed my 70-270 yesterday and getting back into studying (gives me an excuse to ignore the wife! lol) I'm starting to enjoy it.

I'm going to do 70-271 and 70-272 as I'm not paying and most of it is covered in the 270 (so I've heard) then on to the 70-290.

    :D :D :D

Welcome aboard (I know we have posted together already). :)

Yes, I would say there is a big overlap with 270, 271 and 272. The only exception (I haven't taken the 272 yet) is Office and Outlook which are not covered at all in the 270 sylabus.

Best of luck for all your certs :thumbleft
