This is a new and probably very temporary QOTD but since I've got to cram for it, you might as well benefit. Hmmm. I don't see options below for adding a poll. Guess I'll have to do this the old fashioned way:

Gavin is working as the network admin for a company that has used Windows NT Active Directory for the past several years. Recently, the company has decided to implement a plan to upgrade to Windows Server 2003 from NT. Naturally, they are not able to upgrade all of their servers at once. The first Windows Server 2003 server has been installed by upgrading the Windows NT PDC. The Server 2003 mode must be appropriate to allow the eventual upgrade of other servers and eventually the whole domain structure from Windows NT to Windows Server 2003. Which mode or functional level should Gavin select to allow for this? Answer later on the 13th.

    A. Windows 2000 Mixed Mode
    B. Windows 2000 Native Mode
    C. Windows Server 2003 Interim Mode
    D. Windows Server 2003 Mode

    its C by the way
but only if its NT and 2003 only
dont think you can have any 2000 DCs in there
im still a tad confused by the wording 'NT active directory'
are we talking NT 5 (2000) active directory
or are we tallking NT4 domains?

Correct answer is C. Interim Mode is specifically designed for Windows NT 4.0 networks that are undergoing an upgrade to Windows Server 2003. Does not migrate 2000 networks to 2003. More later.
