I sat the exam today and passed with a score of 747.

I was a little dissapointed with Prometric though, as the first machine i sat at crashed on question six, then I had to move to another machine, that one froze and crashed on about question 14, then I was moved to yet another machine that crashed on a sim twice and required rebooting (that didn't resolve it), then I finally got moved to another PC that ran as slow as hell but at least worked.

All in all I had to do one sim 3 times, and the test took me over 40 minutes longer than it should have, but the saving grace is that I scraped a pass.

Now on to the 70-293 in the next two weeks. I'm seriously not looking forward to that one!

    Congratulations 8)

Not a very good first experience with Prometric, hope Microsoft didn't act too hastily in going for a single exam provider.

I've used Prometric a few times before and the tests have always been a little flakey for me.

    Thanks guys.

I would totally recommend the Sybex 70-294 R2 book. I tried reading my MS Press book but it was huge and not that easily flowing, then picked up the Sybex book which was almost half the size and a very good read.

This exam was probably the one with the least study for me, as it took me little over 3 weeks from cradle to grave. I administer AD users and computers on a daily basis, with the creation and management of users and groups, computers and OU's, but had no clue about sites and services, schemas, links, bridges, trusts etc etc etc. The Sybex book was enough to guide me through this one, pretty much on it's own. (Except for a bit of Wiki on subject I wanted to know more about.)

    Sybex 70-294, thumbs up. :salut
