Hi there, any last minute tips for the exam day; it is my first MCP exam so quite nervous! I know I have been putting it off but tomorrow is the last day I can take it until the new year in Manchester. Tonight it will be sit and swat in my books.

Tips? Get a good nights sleep, relax, and read the question slowly and carefully!

I failed my exam, really gutted. I must admin I don't think I was ready for the environment I came accross and it has shook my confidence. Not that I am using it as an excuse, but god the wording is over complicated! The area where I had been worried about System Environment I did great but I think I had given that area too much emphasis. Some IIS in there, don't use it so struggled a bit there, quite a few performance monitoring. I found the simulation environment and questions a lot easier to deal with mainly about user and group creation and membership. I would be more comfortable in a complete simulation based exam!!

Luckily for me I registered for a Second Shot voucher. Perhaps I am too old for this game, I have just heard from a friend at a local school that a graduate there did his MSCA in 2 months

Unlucky mate, at least now you know first hand how the questions are asked, the wording etc.. so hopefully you'll be alot more "ready" the next time round.

Get back to the books and best of luck with the next attempt! :)

Sorry to hear that as I too have failed an MS exam in the past and know the feeling. Well try and get on with it and hit the book as well as carry out the practice labs.

I'm sure second time would be a charm, go for it and keep hussling:)
