    Hi all,

I've not posted in a while, somewhat lost my motivation for studying until my car broke down and I was forced to endure a 40min bus to work and back. Which of course gave me ample reading time for the MS-Press book.

I found studying for this exam harder than most as I was also trying to learn vmware (to setup my lab). I managed to get DHCP and AD setup on my mini network and did a lot of work with CSVDE and also the dsquery command with piping.

I used the MS-Press Book, some CBT nuggets videos and also skillport videos. I think the most useful tool was administering accounts at work and also using the command line tools at home. I found the majority of videos just couldn't replicate actually doing something yourself, a proud moment for me was adding 30 users via a CSVDE and then enabling them through dsquery + dsmod.

I was mega confident at the end of the exam, it was only 30 questions and had a few sims which I found easier than the multiple choice. Came out with 760 which I was gutted about for all of 10seconds until I realised I'd passed and 3 months of work wasn't for nothing.

The exam did resemble the 270 in a lot of ways and I think if u studied hard for 270 learnt the backup concepts, task manager & also performance monitoring you will be in good stead for this exam.

Right I'm off to work on this 291 malarkey, take care all.

congrats on that. Its only natural that if one studies hard with the right material and consistently you will always come out clean. way to go mate!
