70-290 Certificate

    On passing the exam do MS send the certificate to you automatically?

    For the 70-270 certificate (my first MCP) i had to order it

    No, on the older track (MCP-> MCDST->MCSA) you will only get another cert when you attain a new credential, eg MCP, MCDST, MCSA, MCSE and not when you pass each exam.

    I believe M$ are to stop sending out certs soon as part of their green initiative, also the technet magazine is to go online next issue.

    I think you will be able to print a copy (whoop de do)

    So why give me one for 70-270 and not 70-290?

    because when you passed 70-270, you acheived MCP status. You will not get another certificate until you gain a new status (MCSA, MCSE etc).
