How does it compare to the MCDST exams and what areas do you recommend being totally clued up in?

Ive got the exam a week today All I can say is check out the objectives.

Be clued up in all the areas mentioned above

It will be more in-depth than the MCDST but it won't make your head explode. Plenty of time for that in later exams

 

you cant compare MCDST to 270! Its much harder and it focuses on Win XP as a network client and how it behaves in domains. Look at the objectives as well...

 

Thank you. I did one of the accompanying courses for it with interquad to get a taste for it, but although understood and could do everything required, felt that I won't be able to just walk into the exam and pass first time like I did with the others (not that they were p!ss easy - just had enough experience to cope with them)- suppose I was looking for an easy solution, but the replies here seem to suggest that's not possible - will have to be thorough with everything when learning / revising!!
