    zimbo,

I regret to inform you that you are distributing copyrighted materials owned by Microsoft Corporation.

The title of the document in the PDF is "Lab Setup Guide For Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional (70-270), Second Edition." According to Microsoft Press' website, there is a Microsoft Press book titled "Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional (70-270), Second Edition" with a webpage to it at http://www.microsoft.com/MSPress/books/7722.asp . The Microsoft Press book listed is what is known as a "MOAC" which stands for "Microsoft OFFICIAL ACADEMIC Course" which is used at Microsoft IT Academies. The North American IT Academy "Terms and Conditions" in English states "1. Academy Obligations...1.1 All training on Microsoft products that Academy offers as a Program member will be based on the printed and online course materials which Microsoft has developed relating to systems, support, and developer training for computer professionals and Office Specialists (all such materialis collectively referred to 'Microsoft Training Materials'), including but not limited to ..., and Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum ('MOAC')...1.2 Microsoft Training Materials may not be copied, duplicated or otherwise reproduced without Microsoft's express permission." This quote came from the North American Microsoft IT Academy "Terms and Agreements" found at http://download.microsoft.com/downl...1621d5fe/MSITA_NA_TermsConditions_English.doc . Similar verbiage exists in the Microsoft IT Academy "Terms and Agreements" that applies for the United Kingdom at http://download.microsoft.com/downl...473650/MSITA_EMEA_TermsConditions_English.doc .

The tipoff to me was the filename was "MOACXXXX.pdf".

Therefore, I agree with the "lawsuit paranoid" folks in this thread.

    Zimbo,

Im afraid that I'll have to agree with r.h.lee on this one. Whilst it was a link to another website which was hosting the PDF I could not see any issues with it, however as this link has now been removed (possibly for copyright resaons), it does look asthough you posted a copyrighted Pdf.

    I have removed the Pdf.

As there is no longer an accessible document involved in this thread I think that the time has also come to lock the thread and move on.

EDIT: If you do require any assistance please take a look at our Lab Partners forum.
