Well im happy to say that I have passed!!!

On one hand im delighted but on the other I am dissapointed with my score , yes a pass is a pass I will be told but I dont think there is any harm in aiming high.
Scored 730 ( Passing Score 675 )

Have to say tho , the exam centre was freezing , and I was delayed for 20 minutes ( Network was down as someone had turned off the main server Lol - Rule 1 I said to them , check the plugs , we all chuckled , some with red faces !!!!
Anyways , not excuses , I would have still scored the above had I taken it ontime in the caribean
Now to relax and enjoy my xmas , get my next training pack for 602 and hopefully pass that by end of Jan at latest !!!!

Well done mate, perfect time to pass an exam as well, now you can really kick back and relax at Christmas. Unlike me who has Network+ studying to be done

 

I know how you feel I'm studying the N+ as well at the mo. How long have you been studying for it?, I'm at chapter 11 of the Daivd Groth book it's not going to bad.

It's good that you aim high, look at your score card and maybe read around the subjects listed on the card that you got a question wrong to ease your mind if you feel you need to.

Congratulations on the pass. Eventually, you'll only remember you passed and not recall the score. Remember, no employer is going to ask what the exam score is, just if you're certified.

 

I've been very on/off with it to be honest, I lost motivation to get it done a while back and stopped after reading the Meyers N+ book cover to cover. I've been "back on it" a week now and have been reading the Groth book and watching a few cbtnuggets. Im only upto chapter 3 but I really feel like im taking it in, im not sure if its because I already know most of it after reading Meyers or because the book is just better!

When you planning to take the exam?

 

I have the Meyers N+ book as well it's a lot bigger then the Groth book for some reason. I hope to take the exam may or June time as I only started it a few weeks ago when I studied for the A+ I could take the exam when I wanted but as work are paying for the N+ I have gotta take it then I should be ready by then it's quite a way off.

What are the cbtnuggets like? I was thinking of getting them but I might get the Transcender practice exam's instead?

I've only watched a couple so far, and they're ok. Explain things in basic, understandable terms. Im not crazy about them to be honest, I found the A+ ones better. I'll probably change my mind after watching a couple more!
