    Congrats!

Be advised that Cisco doesn't want you posting anything about the number or type of questions you got on your exam (per the confidentiality agreement you signed, section 3). Members of another certification forum have even e-mailed Cisco for clarification on that fact, and they confirmed it.

That way, if and when I pass my CCNA, I'll have somebody to pester for questions.

The best route to what? That is, what is your goal in terms of your IT career?

Keep in mind that certifications are just supposed to establish to the public what you already know. What technologies interest you? Where do you see yourself working in a year? In five years? Start studying what you're interested in. If a certification program maps to it, so much the better.

    laup,

The CCDP has the following prerequisites:
    1. Valid CCNA AND
    2. [Valid] CCDA

Then after meeting prerequisites, the requirements for CCDP are:
    1. BSCI
    2. BCMSN
    3. ARCH

Since BSCI, BCMSN, and ARCH are all 642- prefixed exams, if you pass them, will automatically renew all of your Associate level certificates.

So if you take the exams as you're proposing of BSCI, then CCDP, by passing the BSCI your CCNA only will be renewed. Then when you take the CCDA, that won't renew your CCNA or BSCI. Then when you take BCMSN for CCDP, then your CCNA and CCDA would be renewed. Then when you take ARCH, your CCNA and CCDA would be re-renewed.

According to CCDA requirements webpage, the CCDA has the prerequisite of "CCNA level knowledge and BCMSN level knowledge is needed to prepare for the CCDA certification exam." So, you have at least two options:
    1. Study for the BCMSN exam but do not take the BCMSN exam, study for the CCDA exam, then take the CCDA exam.
    2. Study for the BCMSN exam, take the BCMSN exam, study for the CCDA exam, then take the CCDA exam.
    3. What ever else works for you to meet the requirements of CCDA then CCDP.

    Good luck.
