How about this for eerie (and geeky at the same time)

I have never watched 'Lost' up until about a month ago - when a colleague copied them all for me. I thought I may as well give it a go - became instantly hooked and have now seen every episode, in order - in less than three weeks!

Anyhoo, yesterday, I was pulling some IOPs stats off one of our filers in preparation for a SAN migration (told ya it was geeky too). This is an excerpt of the stats from one of the volumes cut & pasted:

I only noticed because I was cutting & pasting the data into Excel for graphing... I nearly fell off my chair when i saw it

LOL - I guess watching them all in sequence over a fortnight tends to make stuff stick in your mind! As soon as I saw those numbers come up in the show I knew there were going to be important to the plot. I'd like to think I might play the lottery with those numbers - but I'm guessing thousands of other people already play them because of the show

Just a nutty coincidence I guess, but I was pretty stunned when I first noticed it.

 

I wish. With the amount of money and gold bullion in the numbered accounts here I'd say just having one of them would be enough.
