Hi I got an email telling me I have to register my exam result before I can be sent my certificate, and other stuff they send you.
I'll sort this out tonight, haven't got the time atm.

It said in the email that it'll take 4-6 weeks before my stuff is sent.
Is this right?
Seems like a long time.How long did it take to receive your certificates?

What if I want to apply for jobs in the meantime.How do I prove that I'm MCP?

6 weeks or more can be normal, it took months for the security and messaging specialisations to come through for me. Your transcript on the MCP website should be updated within a couple of weeks though, you could just take a print of that along to the interview.

Well...they do have to *mail* the stuff, you know. I agree with Phil...just take your printout of your pass with you and you'll be fine.

and its rare your asked to proove your certifications
i havn't personaly ever been asked
