    After 6 months of hard study and 1 failure, I passed 294 with 800 points on second attempt.

    293 and 297 to go, 293 next up I think towards the end of the year.

    Well done. I failed 294 with a 693 so 800 is a good result. Hopefully I'll be able to match that when I resit 294 after my 291 on the 12th of next month. (too many numbers in this post :confused3 )

    I used the Inside Active Directory book, 294 CBT and the Self Test 294 exam sims. I found the first sitting pretty hard, the exam seems to like trying to tell you about an AD setup in a load of massive paragraphs! Second time a lot easier, but I'd really worked on the areas I'd shown as poor on first time up, plus I used the scribble pad thing to proper effect and drew out what it was saying instead of trying to visualise it.

    Congratulations mate! I need 70-294 myself so it's nice to know what study materials you used. How did you find the timing? Given the question style I'm guessing that it probably took longer than the others?

    Not too bad actually. 1st time I had about 15mins spare, 2nd time about 1hr. Second time it didn't feel like I got as many long winded questions though.
