I keep seeing that you need to know VPN to help pass the 271, yet this isnt covered in the MS press book (cant remeber even seeing it mentioned!)

So can anyone point me a to a good resource for VPN info, thats not too much more than i need to know for the exam. I dont want to get too deep into this if its only surface skimmed.

(one day i will eventually get round to rebooking this exam after 2 previous bookings, one of which i missed as car broke down on way there and teh other i just totaly forgot about until day after!)

Try looking in your N+ study material. All you really need to know is the client side of things, setting up and troubleshooting.

The MS Knowledge Base might be a good place to look as well. You know how MS like things done their way.

The questions I got were not hugely in depth but more along the lines of the types of VPN and how you would set one up for a user type affairs.
