    I have a 2650 here I got on ebay, it boots the point of beginning to load the startup-config then I get a software forced reload...it will then reload continiously in a loop like this until 1 in 10 or so times it boots properly and I can actual configure it, but if i reload it again the same issue occurs.

    When i did manage to get to configure it, I wiped NVRAM and save a simple config.

    any ideas?

    Can you post the output of;

    sho boot
    sho flash

    Also;
    Looks as thought it's booting a config that it doesn't understand in the running IOS..

    Interesting..

    I'm surprised you can't do a 'sho boot', this would normally tell you which IOS file the router is configured to use first (if it doesn't find it, it will then use the next available in flash). But your 'sho flash' indicates there aren't any images on the flash..

    Are there any flash cards inserted or anything? Can you post the 'sho ver'?
