Sadly mine was not in IT.
I did Rural Management qualifications & that coupled with professional qualifications over about 8 years.
I only drifted into IT about 7 years ago.
And for IT was A+ in 2006.

Hmm besides my A Level's and NVQ's I guess my first major qualification was my Degree in Chemistry with Marine Bio-Geo-Chemistry. After that I fell in to IT and did my A+ in 2007.:biggrin

Is a qualification like a degree? I got a BA in Psychology in 1983 and an MS in Counseling in 1985. Does that count?

Umm... I got my O levels (now known as GCSEs I believe) back in... ahem... 1979. Other than that my first IT qualification was my A+ late last year...

I did a Computer Programming diploma in College
Started working as a junior programmer and hated it. Moved to a call center and eventually Sys Admin.
I did nothing in terms of certs for about 2-yrs after working in IT. After that it was general UNIX certification programs and CCNA.
