Got a call half an hour ago - their desperate to have me on board (LOVED my quals - jeez)

Ist Line support for ISP outfit - cr@p money, but reviewed after 3 months

By the way, it was deff worth all the reading up/research I did last night - they set me a "mini-exam" of 20 q's - blew them away with that one !!!

eg Q1 - Whats the correct procedure to query a modem ?
Exactly what I'd looked over, etc etc....

Believe it or not, I was telling one of my better customers today (smart restaurant) that I was for the off, and what I'd be doing.

His first words were "can you help us develop a web presence ?"

Jeez, gimme a damn minute. Still, shows the interest out there, I suppose.

Gav, you can help them develop a web presence...for a price. Nothing wrong with a little side work. If you can build a website for them, shop around for a good price for hosting, help them buy a domain name...why not?

 

Don't get me wrong, Trip - I'm not looking for any "angles" to make a fast buck. But this company does provide solutions from the ground up (Woops spent too long reading their website)

So if I could bring the company more business by helping a friend who actually wants that service, then thats in everyones interest, isn't it ?

Mind you, that's if I'm not to busy selling Servers out the Fire Exit on my break :P
