1st line support - Which cert is good?

    Okay guys I want to work in a Helpdesk 1st line support.

    What micrso cert would be helpful to have?

    Also can these be obtained without doing a course and just doing the exams (privately booked?) if so, is it difficult to do self study? I wan't to learn as appose to just pass the tests and get the certs without knowledge. (I am pretty good at learning btw).

    If somebody could help me I would be extremely grateful.

    But he has no experience, so that'd be ideal for A+ :D

    Not really ideal I am afraid because they would like the person taking the exam to have 500 hours of hands-on experience in the lab or field, maybe he has that in the lab....
