Just seen this on the BBC web site and thought I would post it here to reflect on what happened 10 years ago.

BBC News - 9/11 zoomable image: Explore the World Trade Center site

I think that there are points in time that you will always remember where you were when something momentous happens. My parents always say they remember when they heard the news that Kennedy had been shot and when man landed on the moon. I will always remember when I heard this news and the terrible and heroic stories that followed.

    Remember and learn.

Yep but with the official investigation a whitewash, difficult to understand what to learn...

Don't shoot your own president maybe ?

Don't bomb other countries back to the stone age for cheap resources ?

Regardless of why it happened, I don't think anyone will forget it.

I was 13 and still remember sitting in the Drama hall watching it unfold while my teacher's son was in the area that same day.

Funny as I never really thought about it like that.

We all sat in the hall watching it, nothing graphic appeared on BBC at the time. It was when the plane hit the first TC. After some time (hour, maybe more) we were told to go home.

I was working for the U.S. Postal Service when the news came in. At first I thought it was an accident that an airplane crashed into the WTC. The horror unfolded for us as the minutes went by.
