I'm building a 70-680 virtual lab and I can't seem to find a Win 7 Enterprise evaluation anywhere.

Does anyone have any active links?

Also what's peoples thoughts on the lab set up? I have 16gb ram, quad core cpu.

    I'm thinking 2 servers and 2 clients?

    Regards
    Eilidh

    Hi Eilidh,

It's not the Enterprise version but you can get the Ultimate x86 trial iso from http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24394.iso
Ultimate has all the same features as Enterprise except it is available to consumers, whereas Enterprise is only for volume license customers

With 16GB RAM and a beefy enough CPU you should be fine running 2 clients and 2 servers. Having just completed the 70-685 myself I was labbing DirectAccess at one point with 5 different VM's on my laptop with 16GB RAM

I used VM Player the whole time. Good thing if you have Workstation is you should have the network config editor by default to create isolated networks for your labs
