From next week i will be putting at least 10 hours per week in to study for this exam, at this rate what would be a rough timeline for booking my exam.
You alone can answer that question as each individual learns and retains information differently from one person to the next. However, I think if you have a good test prep mock software i.e. transcender then this also would give you a feel if you're reaching a high mark range.
Ultimately the aim of a cert is not just to pass the exam but to have gain valuable and applicable knowledge at the end. Best wishes
GBL not got much network experience, except from setting up a couple of home network and couple of training networks for the office, was thinking of buying a a network setup from ebay and practise on that. It has to beat network sims.
onoski Aye i guess i will get a feel for it after a couple of practise exams. BTW whats the passmark for N+ when i did my A+ back in 97 i did not take my exam until i was getting 85-90% per practise test, but i think i will push for 90-95% this time before i book my exam to be on the safe side.
you could get virtual PC or vmware and have a virtual network. I run Virtual PC with server 2003 180 day trial and 3 XP 180 day trial virtual workstations from my PC.
