My fav subject! I have some links for you.
first one is graphic reporter. Hers are great for just starting out to some advance one if you are not use to doing video tuts.

http://www.graphicreporter.com/tutor...tutorials.html

The next one is Planet Photoshop
http://www.planetphotoshop.com/

Then there is Layers Mag
http://www.layersmagazine.com/index.htm

However my most fav of all is Kelby training. You have the best of the best here and it is not just photoshop. I'll let you look for yourself.

Oh and don't forget to check out NAPP for photoshop. Now this is not free however, the discounts that you get on other stuff will pay for itself. Not to mention the thousands of tutorials that they have for their memebers only. You can even upload pictures there for the pros to help you critique your work from what I hear!

These are great Mitz, thanks very much. I've been a bit rusty on PS recently as my job now doesn't entail me using it that much, but these would be a great reminder on things

MB, it really is worth looking at sites like these, and if you need to perform a particular task in PS - eg, I dunno, creating a liquid style of text, or graphic effects like cracks in walls - just google the task and you'll find it somewhere. Over the years, I've built up a huge library of web pages that I've PDF'ed, just to keep as a reminder on how to do certain things.

Wink RE: Photoshop

Cheers lads, seems like everyone gets excited by this subject, i suppose its the life blood of web design, its what makes the pages come alive, i just want to learn, first the mark up etc through my studies with scheidegger, and learn also everything i need to, to become good at whats necessary, if you see what i mean, im passionate about this, or why would i bother!

Anyway, ill take the free route from the links given, see what suits.

More power to what you are doin glads.

Ps: To anyone who might come on here and say i shouldnt or cant type talk in anyway i want, well first of all theres a time and a place, for everything.Second, i feel that expression is what gets us to where we want to go.
