    Hi guys,

Might be going mad here but I was under the impression that both exams retire end of march next year, but on MS web site Here and Here it states end of June 2011.

Am i going mad or have I missed something?

It was March 31st maybe they have changed because of people who are on courses. Most course years run from September to June so that might be the reason.

That's brilliant news, cheers for posting DC Pr0Mo!

I think I will still be aiming to certify by 31st March though. Just means there's no chance what so ever I won't pass both exams before they retire. :biggrin

Brilliant news, thanks for posting! I really need to pull my finger out with the MCDST, picked both books up for a steal but have had 0 time to look at them, i'm struggling with the layout of MS Press Books i think, not as reader friendly as the AIO books that i have read in the past.

On my PC, it says June. Are you possibly looking at a cached page?

Why not get certified in what most companies still use then do the upgrades in vista and 7 for the MCITP?

I already started preparing for 70-680 before I found out about longer retirement date for MCDST - so I don't want to turn back

what patch do you propose? which exams? I wouldn't bother about vista at all, it was never popular, I think win7 will be the most popular after xp
