spec for Dell SC1425 rack server (http://www.dell.com/downloads/global...1425_specs.pdf)
Maximum internal storage Up to 500GB SATA or 600GB1 SCSI, hope this helps when looking for you new server.

You may find a BIOS update that will allow bigger drives.
