Thought that this may be of use to those who work with wireless, I used Site Survey Professional version on my wireless course and found that very useful.

Available for Windows XP / Vista 32

Features:

1. Shows Wi-Fi coverage on a map
2. Locates all access points
3. Detects security settings and finds open networks
4. Designed for home and small office
5. Free of charge, one-minute install
6. Supports 802.11n, as well as a/b/g
