Hi people

I have a friends dad who wants me to set up a wireless router instead of their talk talk router, should this just be a straight swap or would i have to but a certain router.??

As far as I know, you just need to select the network, enter your account details and it's ready to go - I've not heard of any particular problems with Talk Talk and use of other routers (plenty of other problems, though! )

Needs to be an ADSL router and also you may need the username and password for the talk talk account.

Or leave that router in place and install a wireless AP (access point).

The username for a TT account is usually the customers phone number. Both the username & password are on the joining letter that they will have received.
