Not a bad book really, covers the exam fairly well. It also comes with two sample exams which are quite good.
I also read other stuff, the Tcat houser, and preplogic guides that came with my voucher and also various websites.
Parts I were fairly happy with due to my programming and power user backgounrd, generally aware of virues, firewalls etc.
I've used blowfish and rijndael encryption etc, I've implemented PKI solutions and tested SAML federated identity solutions. I've set up web sites and web services with SLL.
I also once worked on developing a sort of IDS for a telco. I've worked on military bases in the past, but to be honest alot of the history/theory stuff still went over my head, I've never seen MAC implemented anywhere in an OS.
I don't come from a Network or an admin background, so I found remembering some ports difficult, my knowledge or remote dial in and tunneling services was not great. I also found alot of the questions ambiguous, lots of possible answers but you have to pick the 'best'.
Was really worried about the high pass mark but got through ok.
