Seems like entry level to entry level lol.

Would this be worth going for while I'm working on my first cert (A+)?

    Any tips/advice/etc

Currently a hotel shift leader with mostly retail experience.

Id say no overall, however you will be dealing with people on a daily basis which would be good for when you get an interview for an IT related post

It wouldn't give you a wealth of experience. But it is a more relevant job IT-wise than what you have at the moment, presumably. So if the pay is even or better, it may be worth considering.

It definitely would be closer to IT than what I'm doing now! lol in fact, I was fearing I'd have to dress up my CV a little when it came to applying for an actual IT role when I get my A+, but with this job, it would be easier.

    Thanks guys.

I would say this is a customer service or possibly sales role based on the following line. If the company is in IT anyway then it will be an IT type role if it sells coffins then you'll be closer to an undertaker :).
