Hi Guys, just to let you all no i have my first interview tomorrow. Fingers and toes crossed. Apparently I have to take some sort of test. Not sure whether its an apptitude test or an I.T knowledge exam,im guessing the later of the two. If it goes well ,ill add another post , if not then never mind theres plenty more fish in the sea.

Hi, I thought the first half of the interview went really really well. They asked me what whas the most negative thing about my self, i relply" I find critisism difficult, especially as I have worked really hard on a paticular subject" I had to say some thing negative about my self,it didnt seem to go down too well. Next they asked me when has there been a time when there has experienced bad customer service, and how did I get over the problem. My words got a little jumbled up, this was probably because I was making it up, this question really put me on the back foot. I then thought at the end" I think i sounded to eager, excited and was maybe way too talkative. They said they will contact me by monday. Hmmm after the second part of the interview,im not holding my breath. thank you very much guys for your support.

    Hope you get it.

Sometimes you can get asked questions which throw you, the employers know this and they do it to see how you cope. Lets hope they saw past you jumbling your words and they hire you .

    Good luck

Ah, those are typical interview questions - for example with the one where they ask you about a negative attribute your suppose to say something negative and turn it into a positive. For example 'I have a tendency to give priority to helping others when I should focus on my own workload. I have worked on this in x y and z to allow me to focus on my own workload'.

Hopefully it goes well, you should google up interviewing techniques to help you prepare.

Ok so how would this sound to an interviewer." I sometimes talk too much, but i guess this would be a great attribute when talking to clients on a helpdesk" ???????????? What do you think guys.
