    Hi All,

Just a quick cancas of yes and no's, Do poeple put the certification logo's on their CV (e.g. MCTS logo). If not, why not?

Just wondering if I should or not.

I used to, but not anymore. That's mainly due to personal preference and the fact that I've got alot of logo's.

I do, however, sometime put logo's on letters (eg cover letters, business letters) and e-mails. But it does depend on what kind of letter I'm sending and who I'm sending it to.

p.s. for a quick canvas, you could have used a poll with 3 answers: Yes, No, Sometimes.

If you put logos on your CV you would have to call it a book. :)

I havent got any certs yet, but when I do logos will go on my CV.

Agreed. I'm struggling to keep mine at three pages.

Another thing to remember is that agencies don't send your CV to potential employers in the same format you send them in. They have their own formats which they cut and paste information into.

Maybe if you, ken and BM get together you could do a list of certs to rival the length of war and peace :p

yeah I got fed up with that and threw a © on the top of mine and started sending it in secure .pdf
they didn't seem to keen on that, i probably wouldn't mind if they did just cut and paste bits onto their form, but they cut and paste there shite onto my CV, and I paid good money to get it looking good and formatted right.. i don't need some jock with rudimentary word skills at best cocking it up :)

I'll include the most relevant 3-4 logos on my resume. For example, if I'm looking for a programming job, I'll include those, but if I'm looking for a network job, I'll include those instead. I do provide a list of all of my certifications, but I only include the logos of the most relevant ones. This allows me to keep my resume shorter, even though it's already 2 pages long.

I put the most relevant 4 or 5 logos in the upper right corner of my resume. Nothing too obtrusive... just something to catch the eye. :)

Even with logos, my resume is only 2 pages long.
